Chris Hatfield and HEW G Release Powerful New Video Directed by Patryk Larney

Hope Tree Entertainment is proud to announce the release of the official music video for Overcome by Chris Hatfield featuring HEW G. Directed by Patryk Larney, this visual story dives straight into the heart of an issue that continues to define our world. Division, political tribalism, and the growing distance between neighbors, friends, and families.

From the start, the video presents a striking scene. Two characters, Mr Red and Mr Blue, live in separate rooms that mirror one another. Each room is completely saturated in its own bold color palette. Each character sits alone, watching a steady stream of one sided media through a glowing Tunnel Tube that carries information directly from their television to their space. Though only a wall separates them, they live in two very different realities.

Chris Hatfield steps into the story as both Candidate Red and Candidate Blue, offering a subtle but powerful reminder of how often leaders become symbols instead of people. HEW G brings depth and empathy to the film by stepping into the roles of both Mr Red and Mr Blue, reflecting the shared humanity under the surface of even the loudest disagreements.

As the song moves forward, the walls between their worlds begin to feel smaller. What starts as a divided existence becomes a call to communication. Overcome builds an emotional arc that reaches for connection instead of conflict. The visual choices, the performances, and the symbolic color work all drive home a simple truth. The only way forward is through conversation, compassion, and the willingness to listen.

With a mix of performance shots, narrative storytelling, and satirical news moments, the video holds a mirror to the world while offering hope for something better. Overcome may speak to the moment we are in, but it also points to the future we can choose.

Watch the full video and join the conversation. Are we willing to overcome what divides us?
